James joined Windes & McClaughry in 1987 and is currently a partner and department head for the firm’s Employee Benefit Services department. He focuses his practice on employee benefit plan design, administration, and compliance with services including qualified plan design and administration, distribution planning, retirement planning, ERISA compliance, fringe and welfare benefit plan design and administration, and qualified plan compliance review. James serves employers of firms ranging in size from small professional service firms to the upper end of middle market employers. Within Windes and McClaughry, he serves on the Board of Directors and as Chairman for the firm’s Technology Task Force.
